We walked down Andrassy Street in downtown Budapest in the direction of St. Stephens Basilica. It was somehow easier to appreciate the craftsmanship and beauty of the guilded, ornate, interior in the strictly imposed silence.

| Our walk past the Jewish Symague was sobering. Graves of over 2000 bodies recovered from mass graves of Nazi era confinement behind ghetto walls. Names of families and approximate dates given in years 1942-44 the only identification possible. |
The basilica alone is worth the price of the cruise. Gorgeous! Did my sister remember to say a Hail Mary for those of us back in the States?
