Veste Oberhaus and beer!

We walked the winding pathway up to the fortress about Passau. Founded in 1219 by first prince-bishop when there was a hint of rebellion in the air. It provided us with a view of Passau as well as the two rivers, Danube and Inn. There is a third, the Ilz but it is harder to spot.

Veste Oberhaus
Our reward at the top - it was a scorching hot Easter Sunday.
