The Danube is long and sometimes blue, lined with bike paths, campers (Easter weekend?), churches, small towns and the occasional castle crumbling on top of the hill. We've been through many many locks - quite a few in the night and under enough bridges that the top deck is closed for five days since the railings all have been lowered and the furniture removed. One of the bridges allowed inches to spare even with those precautions. We've had more three-course dinners, and gone on three guided tours. But I have not been able to reach clear enough satellite reception to send any updates. We are approaching Nuremberg and it looks like things might improve so lots to catch up on.
